Frequently asked questions
How do I join A BroaderWay?
We work with leaders in educational institutions to find girls and gender-expansive youth who would thrive at A BroaderWay. These young people are either very outspoken, driven, and excelling in their studies, or are thoughtful, quiet, focused, and interested in activities that don’t require them to be extroverted (writing, coding, animation, etc.). We center Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, but do not exclude young people based on race or ethnicity and welcome anyone who has been recommended by our community partners.
The Future Leader Program is 4-years long, and we take a new class every year for young people who are entering the 6th grade. They graduate from the Future Leader program as they are entering the 10th grade.
Are there any opportunities after ABW?
Yes! Our Future Leaders can go onto our Graduate Programs.
